Registration and Data Maintenance

Cronos does not need to be installed because you will use it via the Internet through a school or university account. Next you must register the sessions (morning, afternoon and/or night), courses (High School, etc.), subjects (Math, Geography, etc.), grades (6th grade, 8th grade, etc.), teachers and classes (8th grade A, 8th grade B, etc.). After finishing data registration, the user must define the constraints, verify the registered data and generate the timetables. The reuse of the service does not require a data re-registration, which makes the process even more faster and efficient.

Pedagogical Aspects

The Cronos Timetable considers the most important pedagogical aspects while making your
timetable:

• Elimination of teachers and classes' schedule conflicts;

• Obedience to teacher's constraints (time off / day off);

• Configuration of unavailability in the class' schedule;

• Configuration to doubled or separated lessons for the classes;

• Maximum possible elimination of windows in the teacher's timetable;

• Fixing classes at certain times;

• Union and separation of classes at specific times, and others.

• Control of teacher displacement (in the case of 2 different units);

• Control of class timing when classes start at different times;

• Minimizing the occurrence of isolated classes.

Reports

Cronos has reports to help you in important tasks before making your timetable: (1) to verify if all data was correctly registered; (2) to analyze if the constraints were correctly defined; (3) to check all information registered in the system; (4) to display timetables by classes or teachers; (5) to check fixed classes, among others. This way, without lots of constraints concentrated on a certain teacher and on a certain day, you will be able to make the timetables with even more quality.

Automatic Timetables Generation

Cronos allows you to make school timetables both for classes and teachers, looking to eliminate windows and single lessons. The system makes the timetable automatically and dealing with all constraints (time off for the teachers) registered in the system. After the data and constraints registrations, the user will request a timetable generation. As soon as the timetable is made, the user will be able to view it in the following formats: HTML, PDF, Excel or Word.
The System also allows the sharing of the generated timetables, through an access path.

Automatic Changes

After the timetable elaboration, the user will be able to use Cronos' Automatic Changes module to improve your timetable even more. You just need to select a teacher in a class and Cronos' Artificial Intelligence will calculate and display suggestions for possible changes, keeping all constraints previously registered.

Timesheet

Cronos Timetable also allows printing Timesheets. These Timesheets can be individually made for each teacher or for all teachers at once. The Timesheets can be printed inside the system or exported to Excel.

Access and Institutional Control

With Cronos you can access data from your institution's units, list those responsible for each unit, access reports with the registered data and, of course, view the schedules generated by these units.
